SARAH NAUSER
Board Member of ATC911
In June of 2018 I was first introduced to ATC because I unexpectedly became a recipient from the organization. In May of 2018, I received my ALS diagnosis. ALS is a terminal disease which effects the nerves in your body leading to the inability to move and breathe on your own. At the time, I was proudly serving the community as a Kansas City Police Department Police Officer. My law enforcement career began in 2009 at the age of 21 with Blue Springs Police Department. From there I joined KCPD until I was forced to retire because of my ALS diagnosis in 2020.
As soon as Ronnie learned of my devastating diagnosis he immediately jumped into action to provide me with financial reassurance. He further ensured me he and the organization would support me in my fight against ALS going forward. Here we are nearly seven years later and I am honored to be part of such an impactful organization to assist fellow first responders during their time of need.
- Thanks to my blended family, I am Grandma Sarah to four wild and crazy boys. One of my greatest joys in life.
- I love all things sports especially the Kansas City Royals
- I got my start in law enforcement at the age of 15 by becoming a police explorer with BSPD
