LUIS VIRGIL

Board Member of ATC911

I was introduced to ATC in 2017 after the Independence Police Department had an officer shot in the line of duty. Thankfully our officer survived but his life and the life of his family would be changed forever. As one of the officers assigned to help the officer and his family, I was tasked with handling all the donations coming in. Ronnie, who has been a friend for many years, stepped up to the plate and made ATC available to help this process. The support was amazing!

Since 2021 the Independence Police Department and the Independence Community have suffered two Line of Duty deaths. Ronnie and ATC have been there each time to offer their services and to provide support to the fallen officers’ families.

After seeing 1st Responders from our agency and throughout the Kansas City Metro area assisted and supported by ATC, it was my honor to accept the invitation to become a board member of this great foundation.
